About the Medicine Hat Ballroom Dance Club

Who we are

We’re really just a fun-loving bunch of people! We are a social dance club for adults living in and around the Medicine Hat area. We hope to make ballroom dancing an affordable and enjoyable pastime for singles and couples. Through our lessons, we emphasize encouragement, fun, and an all-round love for dance. Our instructors strive to make learning fun and easy in a relaxed and caring manner. Lessons are taught one dance step at a time with plenty of practice time in between.

Types of dance we teach:

Our classes focus on mainly 6 dances: Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Jive, Rumba, & Cha Cha. Although other dances (like Samba, 2-Step, Mambo) may be taught throughout the year during specific workshop times.

Where we are

All of our lessons, dances, & special events are held at The Branch, located @ 221 North Railway St, downtown Medicine Hat. It is right next door to the Family Book Nook.
